Stanley, I’ve a Feeling We’re Not in Dallas Anymore…

Excuse my delay in posting. Life has been somewhat hectic, what with the move back, the job hunt, and starting my new job (EEK!) Read on my friends, read on.

Packing

As I packed up my life (for the second time in two months) I had this epiphany that everything was happening as it should.  I’m a huge believer in fate –  fate defines all that we are, all that we have been, and all that we are to be.  Going to Dallas was not a mistake, it was an incredible learning opportunity for me.  I’m glad I haven’t been job hunting in Minneapolis for the last two months and sitting here thinking, “Man, I wish I would have gone to Dallas, I wonder what that would have been like…[Sigh]”.  Now I know that it wasn’t right, but that doesn’t mean it was a mistake.   Just because something doesn’t work out whether it be a love, a college, a job, a move, etc.  doesn’t mean it was a waste of time.  It’s fate’s way of preparing us for who we are meant to be.

Stanley was a little more sad to leave…
