The Music of Disney Comes Alive at the Music Emporium – D23 Expo Preview

Exclusive albums and autographs are coming to Disney Music Emporium at D23 Expo!

Known for its exclusive items online, the Disney Music Emporium is coming to D23 Expo 2017 and bringing all their goodies with them – and then some.  With a pop-up shop in the show floor, DME is bringing some hard-to-find collectible albums, many of which will be introduced for the first time at the Expo.  The Moana songs will be released on picture disc at D23 and Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 will be released on an actual cassette! The songs of the recent live version of Beauty and the Beast will be pressed onto blue vinyl.  And for you Descendants fans, the soundtrack for Descendants 2 will be released FIRST at D23 Expo 2017.

So cool to see this on an actual cassette!

Exclusive to the Disney Music Emporium and being released at D23 will be the soundtracks to all four of the Netflix Marvel series.  Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist will all have albums available on the show floor.  And of course there will be other items available including lithographs and posters.

All four current Marvel Netflix albums will be available for the first time at D23 Expo 2017 and it is a DME exclusive

I have to admit to being the most excited about the release of the attraction soundtracks for Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.  I wonder if they’ll have the original narration of those old albums from when I was a kid?  I hope so. Also, the two disc set for The Legacy Collection: Robin Hood sounds like it will be amazing.  According to the press release, it “features the songs and score from the film on Disc 1, plus previously unreleased demos, and bonus tracks performed by Louis Prima on Disc 2. Also included are extensive liner notes by Disney historian and writer Paula Sigman-Lowery.”  Not to mention a beautiful cover by Walt Disney Animation Studios visual development artist Lorelay Bove.
