TWD white loaves

TWD White Loaves:

I am so excited to be a part of Tuesdays with Dorie. I have newborn twins at home so I may not be able to partake of every recipe but I definitely wanted to try this first one – White Loaves.

This recipe was a very easy bread recipe to make. I was nervous about this being my second time using yeast but I had no problem getting it to proof. The hard part was waiting for it to rise two times and then baking it.

We finished the first loaf in almost one day and I had to take out the second loaf from the freezer as the family was asking for more.

I added sea salt to one loaf and sunflower seeds to the second loaf. We really enjoyed the loaf with the sea salt. The mixture of warm bread, salt and sweet butter was a pleasure to our taste buds.
